CABS offers one-on-one training in QuickBooks, Simply Accounting, AccPack, Profile users right in our office. Training is also available for individual tax preparation, basic bookkeeping, payroll calculations remittances, and completion of various payroll related forms.

The use of computers is a large part of any modern office and CABS is no exception. We found however that good computer training was difficult to come by, so CABS decided to offer training in various software packages with the goal of teaching you correctly the first time so you can be more productive immediately.
Overview
Our courses are designed for small business owners with little to no previous experience in bookkeeping or Quickbooks. Students are given hands-on, step-by-step instruction through setting up Quickbooks and entering common transactions for a sample company.
To ensure students receive as much personal attention as possible, class sizes are limited to a maximum of 12 people. Following the 9 hour program, graduates will be proficient QuickBooks® users and capable of:
- Setting up bookkeeping records in Quickbooks.
- Paying bills and expenses, and tracking amounts owed to vendors.
- Invoicing customers, receiving payments, and tracking amounts owed from customers.
- Setting up and processing payroll.
- Reconciling bank and credit card accounts.
- Calculating and remitting payroll source deductions, GST and PST returns.
- Customizing reports.
And much more!
This course is hands-on – students must be familiar with basic computer use and comfortable with data entry. In our training centre each student works on their own computer while the instructor demonstrates each step of the lesson on a projector screen.
